Hotel Brunelleschi

Hotel Brunelleschi’s entrance is in a charming little square in the historic center of Florence, just a few steps from the Duomo, Palazzo della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery. The hotel is surrounded by the shopping streets and famous museums. It includes a 6th century Byzantine round tower and a medieval church, all restored to their original features. Inside, a private museum exhibits artefacts found during the restoration of the tower and the remains of a Roman bath, now embedded in the foundations. Hotel Brunelleschi is part of the Florentine Historical Businesses. The hotel has been renovated in an extremely elegant contemporary style, dominated by the light colors and gray of the typical “serena” stone.

From February 2017 the hotel’s gastronomic menu is signed by the Michelin-starred chef Rocco De Santis.

Santa Elisabetta Restaurant is the gourmet restaurant of the hotel and is one of the most interesting gastronomic addresses on Florence. Located in an intimate room with only 7 tables on the first floor of the Byzantine tower, which is part of the hotel, to the enviable location it adds a sophisticated atmosphere and refined cuisine. It is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 7.30 to 10.30 pm. Every Friday and Saturday it hosts a special food and wine menu.

The most informal Osteria della Pagliazza opens every day from 12.30 to 2.30 pm and from 7.30 to 10.30 pm. Located on the ground floor of the hotel, during the warm season it provides also some open-air tables in the charming piazza in front of the hotel, and offers a delicious menu of dishes based on ingredients of the surrounding territory.
